Description of work undertaken:
Alteration and refurbishment of existing warehouse and mezzanine areas. Transfer Café from 1st floor to Ground including upgrade commercial kitchen and maintain services and accommodation for Friends of the Earth Staff.
Works included stripping out existing office areas and constructing new lift shaft and lift car, replacing felt flat roof, replacement of existing steel doors and windows with timber, new heating, plumbing and electrical works throughout, new walls, internal finishes and decoration.
3nr Apprentices and 3nr ex-offenders / Survivors of Modern Slavery were employed on the project.
