Andy Jones

Construction Director
Andy joined Jericho to lead the construction team in October 2012. He has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry having previously run his own successful building company, and also worked as a senior manager for a large national tool hire company.
There is very little indeed that Andy doesn’t know about building. In his younger days he was a highly gifted tradesperson with excellent skills in carpentry, bricklaying and plastering. He also qualified as an electrician and a plumber. This makes him the ideal person to supervise our site activities as nothing gets past him!
Somewhat unusually in this sector Andy also has an honours degree in maths and is a very fine musician and vocalist.

Managing Director
Richard is a chartered engineer who spent 17 years working for a large international construction consultancy before joining Jericho as a volunteer in 2004. He combined his love of buildings with his passion for social justice by starting most of Jericho’s construction and environmental initiatives and is currently both CEO of the Jericho Charity and Managing Director of Jericho Construction
When not at work Richard can usually be found on top of a wet windy hill ‘enjoying’ a bracing walk with his family and Florrie the cockapoo. Alternatively you will find him in the shed at the bottom of the garden tinkering with his beloved motorbike (which is a Yamaha XSR900 for anyone who is interested….but you probably aren’t….)
